SLAS Board of Directors and SBS, ALA Executive Councils
SLAS, SBS and ALA each have their own leadership representatives. The SBS and ALA Sections each have an Executive Council of six elected members to oversee the educational initiatives of their respective sections. Nine volunteers comprise the SLAS Board of Directors, including four officers (president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer).
From 2010 through 2011, members of the inaugural SLAS Board of Directors include elected leaders from both SBS and ALA Boards of Directors: Jason Abbas, Robert Ames, Dave Dorsett (vice president), Bill Janzen, Michelle Palmer (president), Jeff Paslay, Erik Rubin (treasurer), Mary Jo Wildey and Andy Zaayenga (secretary).
